Honoring those who served our country!

On Aug 2nd the small group gathered to serve at the Purple Heart Banquet in Wake Forest, NC.

The team started setup three hours before the event, knowing some guests would come early. The semi-formal event is an opportunity for the community to gather around our veterans and their families. The event is hosted by Richland Creek Community Church. The event is organized by the Wake Forest Purple Heart Foundation. While I never heard the official headcount, there were well over 500 people in attendance this year. 

This year we had new folks helping with the family portraits, and a new friend, John Hess, helping with the individual portraits. Team members include: BJ, Megan, Ruth, Cindy, Daniel, Maddy, John, Denise, Steve. 

We provide each Honoree and their family a free 5×7 print to commemorate the event.
